Social Responsibility

The effects and colonialism have left deep wounds within the social core of disadvantaged and remote communities in Namibia.

Some of these areas, have high rates of poverty, gender-based violence, HIV and AIDS and in some cases, child headed households. These social issues affect child and community development and need to be addressed at a personal level.

Open Arms Trust partners with various organisations to advocate and take action that will bring about change in affected societies, while being mindful of the different cultural values of each society.
